Hack for Sweden took place on April 4th-6th at Stockholmsmässan in Stockholm, Sweden.

The Hack for Sweden core event is a yearly hackathon, an event you have to experience firsthand to truly “get what it´s all about”. Hack for Sweden is so much more than a hackathon – it’s an event that brings together the public and the private sector, the programmers and the hippies, the nerds and the academia, the corporates and the kids. In other words, it brings everyone interested in being a part of creating the society we want to have in the future, together with one simple purpose: working to build tools for the benefit of our society.

Mindus is a partner of Hack for Sweden and had a booth during the entire 3-day venue.

Sweden Demo Day

Sweden Demo Day is the largest and most spectacular un-conference for startups, investors and corporates in the digital realms.

600+ exhibiting startup entrepreneurs presenting themselves with nothing but our signature brown paper pitch. 99 startups will be part of a pitching-competition presenting their business on the Demo Stage and get feedback from a panel of investors. A Startup Matchmaking was also held matching startups with talents, investors and corporates.

After ringing the Nasdaq bell at 17.30, Out of Office took over to mix business with pleasure Stockholmsmässan was turned into an epic nightclub.

No speakers – no distractions. If you wanted traditional conference content, listen to TED.

At 16:00 this same day started a parallel event: Hack For Sweden.

TNW Afterhours @Cannes

TNW (The Next Web) Afterhours in Cannes event was awesome! Round-tables were set-up for discussions with prominent persons such as the Reddit CEO Steve Huffman (above). Coming directly from SUP46 in Sweden via Arlanda Express and Nice Airport, it was quite a temperature shock (33 degrees) from about 14 degrees in Stockholm. Luckily, we had a set of lighter clothes brought in.
